Michael Smith is a native of West Monroe, Louisiana and is considered one of today's freshest communicators. With over twenty years in student ministry, Michael has served in some of the top churches in America and has traveled the country speaking at conferences, camps and DisciplesNows, sharing the hope of the gospel with humor and style, reaching thousands of students in the process.

Michael began following Christ when he was 13 and was never the same.

Just a few years later at 17, he took his first job as student minister at a small church in Louisiana. It was during that time God gave Michael a unique passion to not only reach students with the gospel, but to equip them to be catalysts for change within student culture. As a student minister and itinerant speaker, Michael challenges students to follow Christ boldly and love others passionately. He currently lives in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
